Postcards with a clear purpose

A postcard can introduce a service, thank a customer or invite someone to an event. Its strength is a simple message on a compact printed card: one reason to look and one clear next step.

Design the front and back together

Use the front for a strong image or headline, then give the reverse a specific purpose. That might be event details, a personal note or an offer. Keep key information away from the edges and check both sides are oriented correctly before submitting the file.

Leave room to write or address

If you intend to write a message by hand, check that the selected stock and finish suit that use. For postal campaigns, leave space for addressing and postage and confirm current mailing requirements separately. Printed postcards are not the same as a booked mail distribution service.

Match the quantity to the campaign

Estimate the number of recipients or customer orders before comparing prices. For a dated promotion, avoid buying more cards than you can use before the offer ends. Keep the finished size, sides, paper and finish consistent when comparing quotes.

Check the small details

Read the date, location, web address and offer conditions at actual print size. Make sure any QR code scans and that the destination works on a phone. Use the portal for the available specifications, price and artwork checks, then review the final details before payment.
