Flyers and brochures that get your message across
From a real estate letterbox drop to a cafe promotion, flyers give people something useful to keep. A folded brochure gives you more room for services, a menu or a product range. Choose the format around what someone needs to know and what you want them to do next.
DL flyers for a focused offer
A flat DL flyer is a compact format for an offer, event invitation or property campaign. Lead with one clear headline, keep the essential details easy to scan and make your contact details prominent. Check the actual trim size in the portal before preparing your design; a flat DL flyer and an A4 sheet folded to DL are different jobs.
A4 tri-fold brochures: plan the panels
An A4 tri-fold creates six panels across two sides. A roll fold folds inward, while a zigzag or concertina fold alternates direction. Panel widths can depend on the fold, so use the artwork dimensions and instructions for the selected option instead of assuming all panels are equal. Make a paper mock-up to check the reading order.
Gloss stock and paper weight
If your brief calls for A4 tri-fold brochures on 150 gsm gloss stock, check that exact combination in the live category choices. Paper weight, finish, printed sides and folding all affect the comparison. Do not substitute another paper or fold just because the price looks lower.
Keep a flyer campaign affordable
When comparing cheap flyer printing, look at the total for the quantity you can distribute. Compare short runs and larger runs using the same specification. Leave space around important text, use clear images and proofread any date-sensitive offer before uploading your artwork.
